Boemen Resources Ltd

As a fully Ghanaian-owned oil and gas services company, Boemen Resources Ltd.(BRL) proudly served as an Associate Sponsor at this year’s Africa Oil Week in Accra (15–18 September 2025). Our sponsorship went beyond brand placement; we supplied branded notepads, pens and other materials for the conference, underlining our commitment to supporting meaningful industry dialogue.
Our participation at AOW 2025 was strategic. Recognising the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of Ghana’s energy economy, we positioned BRL to showcase our capabilities, engage key stakeholders and affirm our role in shaping Ghana’s energy future.
Hosting the event on Ghanaian soil for the first time was very symbolic and a moment that amplified our visibility and influence across the continent. Rooted in the spirit of Ghanaian hospitality and guided by faith, it allowed us to welcome Africa’s energy leaders into our home, deepen regional ties, and reaffirm our commitment to shaping a resilient and inclusive energy future from a uniquely Ghanaian perspective.

High-Level Industry Engagement

The conference’s keynote sessions underscored the significance of Africa’s energy transition and Ghana’s role in it. The opening address was delivered by Hon. John Jinapor, Minister for Energy & Green Transition (Ghana), who emphasised that:
“Africa’s energy future depends on our ability to responsibly harness our resources while ensuring energy security and supporting the global transition to cleaner fuels.”
Other distinguished speakers included:

  • Dr Omar Farouk Ibrahim,
Secretary-General of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO), who underscored the need for African capacity building, regional centres of excellence and intra-continental energy markets.
  • John Dramani Mahama,
President of the Republic of Ghana, listed among the key speakers at AOW 2025.
These voices set a tone of ambition, collaboration and local-industry empowerment, aligning closely with BRL’s mission.

Driving Ghanaian and African Value

At BRL, our presence at AOW 2025 was also a deliberate step toward positioning ourselves among the continent’s leading voices in oil & gas services. We understand the complexities of procurement, the demands of quality delivery, and the importance of local content.

Ebo Essuman Ocran, CEO of Boemen Resources Ltd., reflected on the significance of the event, stating:
“This partnership afforded us the opportunity to engage with key industry players across the African continent on the region’s energy sector, while also enhancing our visibility.
It served as a strategic platform to showcase our values, deepen stakeholder relationships, and contribute meaningfully to conversations shaping Africa’s energy future.
We were proud to stand alongside other changemakers, and we look forward to building on this momentum.”

By standing alongside global sponsors, we demonstrated that Ghanaian enterprise is ready for the global stage.
The conference further reinforced the urgency of collaboration, across governments, private sector players and communities. For Ghana, it opened doors to investment and strengthened local content frameworks. For BRL, it unlocked new opportunities for regional partnerships and joint ventures.
The moment our logo appeared alongside global brands was a powerful affirmation of  our journey to an international stage.
